T.O.E. is a business discovery, media, advertising and city-information platform that helps users discover businesses, products, services, places, experiences, events and independent service providers.
Our services may include business listings, digital profiles, magazine publication, advertising, branded content, business promotion, QR-code discovery, service-provider discovery, events and tourism, hospitality and lifestyle information.
Businesses may be listed through paid subscriptions, direct submissions, T.O.E. research, partnerships or other lawful sources.
Businesses are responsible for the accuracy and legality of information they provide. T.O.E. may edit, update, format, suspend or remove information that is inaccurate, misleading, outdated, unlawful or inconsistent with our standards.
A T.O.E. listing or feature does not automatically constitute an endorsement or guarantee of a business, product or service.
The T.O.E. Service Network connects users with independent service providers such as drivers, cleaners, cooks, nannies, caregivers, domestic assistants, gardeners, handymen and other professionals.
Unless a separate written agreement states otherwise, service providers are independent contractors and are not employees of T.O.E.
T.O.E. may collect information and conduct reasonable verification checks to support registration, identification, safety and service discovery. A “Verified” status reflects the checks completed by T.O.E. and does not guarantee a provider's conduct, competence, honesty or future performance.
Users are responsible for making appropriate enquiries before engaging a business or service provider. Service providers are responsible for providing truthful information, complying with applicable laws, respecting customers and their property, and delivering services as agreed.
T.O.E. may investigate complaints and may suspend or remove a provider or listing where there are credible concerns involving fraud, misconduct, false information, safety or violation of these Terms.
T.O.E. does not determine criminal guilt and does not replace law-enforcement or judicial processes.
Reviews, ratings, photographs, videos and other submissions must be genuine, lawful and non-abusive. Users must not submit false allegations, impersonate others, infringe intellectual-property rights or disclose another person's private information.
By submitting content for publication, you grant T.O.E. permission to use, reproduce, edit and publish it for the relevant Platform, listing, publication or promotional purpose. You retain ownership of your original content unless otherwise agreed.
T.O.E. may moderate or remove content that violates these Terms.
Advertising, magazine placements, sponsored content and promotional packages are subject to availability, agreed package terms, editorial requirements and publication schedules.
Magazine and distributor-network placement is not automatically guaranteed at every T.O.E. distribution location unless expressly stated in the relevant package.
T.O.E. may reject or remove advertising that is unlawful, misleading, deceptive, offensive or inconsistent with our standards.
T.O.E. may use QR codes, unique links and campaign identifiers to measure engagement, including scans, referral sources, distributor locations, dates, approximate location, device information and destination pages.
Tracking information may be used for reporting, campaign measurement, business intelligence and improvement of T.O.E. services.
Fees for T.O.E. services are communicated before purchase. Third-party payment providers may process payments.
Cancellation and refund rights depend on the relevant service or package. Where production, advertising, printing or other costs have already been incurred, applicable costs may be deducted from any eligible refund.
T.O.E. may link users to external websites, social-media accounts, booking services, payment platforms, maps and other third-party services. T.O.E. does not control or guarantee the content, security, availability, products or services of third parties.
The T.O.E. name, logo, branding, website, editorial content, graphics, original photographs, videos, layouts, databases and other T.O.E.-created materials belong to or are licensed to T.O.E.
They may not be copied, reproduced, commercially exploited, scraped, republished or distributed without permission.
Businesses retain ownership of their own logos, trademarks and materials submitted to T.O.E., subject to the rights granted to T.O.E. under these Terms.
Users must not use T.O.E. to commit fraud, provide false information, impersonate another person, harass others, manipulate reviews, unlawfully collect information, infringe intellectual-property rights, compromise Platform security or engage in unlawful activity.
T.O.E. may suspend or terminate access where necessary.
T.O.E. does not guarantee a particular number of customers, leads, sales, bookings, QR scans, website visits, social-media engagement or revenue.
To the extent permitted by law, T.O.E. is not responsible for losses arising from the acts or omissions of independent businesses or service providers, third-party platforms, inaccurate information supplied by users, or transactions conducted independently between users and businesses.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Your use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
T.O.E. may update these Terms when necessary. The latest version will be published on this website.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and subject to the jurisdiction of the appropriate Nigerian courts.
